The website was created in 2017, however due to VATSIM.net network developments, it lacks many features to improve day-to-day communication and management of the members, as well as it lacks the information for pilots we serve on the network. Additionally, there is a plan to implement a LMS based on our Azure platform, however there is no IT resource and knowledge available in the organisation to deploy such systems.
This project is important step in developing our nonprofit organisation, to engage more teenagers and adults to step into world of aviation, even if just starting from the flight simulator or air traffic control. Furthermore, next year we celebrate our 20th anniversary since the organisation was found.
About organisation: Virtual ATC Centre of Estonia (VACC Estonia) is a non-profit association on VATSIM.net network, created for air traffic controllers, aviation enthusiasts and other volunteers interested in developing virtual aviation in Estonia.

Some ideas on what we look for the first stage of the update:
– Clean up some backend code for the features that could not be used anymore (all defunct: API for parsing the list of events and members, posting events/news through admin access)
– Implement the new API for grabbing the list of members
– Implement new airports page for pilot members
– Implement statistics based on another API
