What will you do?
As the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) manager you will drive creation and implementation of the SEO and SEM strategies to enable customer acquisition and revenue growth eventually adding to the ROI
Formulate and implement SEO and SEM strategy for all digital assets
Enhance Search (SEO & Onsite) performance, drive quality, generate relevant traffic and improve engagement on the website
Tactical SEO tasks such as continuous optimization of existing content and improving site
architecture
Monitoring competitors and keyword research and strategy will be one of the key responsibilities
Stay up to date on the latest trends, ensuring best practices in SEO
Upgrading from the conventional approach to ensure we adopt the best and latest techniques that help us meet our performance goals and objectives
Daily monitoring of SEO performance, followed by preparation and presentation of
weekly/monthly SEO performance reports that talks data and offers actionable insight for the next POA
Create editorial plans for the blog and the website to increase organic traffic
Write content (including meta descriptions, alt tags, etc.) which has a positive impact on the search performance
Identify new SEO growth opportunities via content gap analysis, keyword opportunities and
competitive audits
Develop and implement advanced link building strategies
Own the SEO engineering pipeline and drive the execution of SEO projects in collaboration with the content, design, web development, and marketing operations teams.
Other relevant duties as assigned based on business requirement
What should be your profile & skills?
Proven experience of minimum 6 years including 4+ years as SEO Manager, SEM Manager, or a similar role
An efficient, assertive, data-driven individual who is proactive and an excellent communicator
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Great attention to detail, well organized and superior multi-tasking skills
Proactive and proven track record to work with minimum instructions
In-depth understanding of SEO principles, strategies, and implementations
Proficiency with relevant SEO tools such as SEM Rush, ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.
Good understanding of mobile web technologies (PWA, AMP, Responsive web design) and their impact on SEO
Ability to measure and track traffic using Google Analytics and Google tag manager
Strong understanding and implementation of advanced Off-Page strategies (link-building)
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience working on WordPress sites or custom-made platforms
Outstanding knowledge of Search Engine Algorithms and most recent updates.
Proven analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and prepare actionable reports for
the senior management
Be comfortable and adaptable to an ever-changing, fast-paced, hands-on, entrepreneurial
environment
