    Project description:

Development of a self-contained programming language and application specifically for the Visually Impaired, called Speak, similar to Scratch and based upon the T.E.D prototype which can be viewed here. Speak will allow anyone with any kind of visual impairment to learn, enjoy and participate in coding activities completely in line with expectations set by the UK National Curriculum, leveling the playing field between sighted and Visually Impaired children and most importantly simply allowing them to partake in cool and fun coding activities sighted children are fortunate to be able to take for granted.
