Based on Kiwix’s Internet in a Box, we are developing an offline learning system with an Intel NUC i3 8th Gen that offers ZIM files of best global OS learning, locally generated content and radio/livestreaming capacity for the 75% of Ladakhi students who have no access to internet, towers or learning since COVID started. The technology is a piece of cake. We lack a team of Ladakhi coders who can redevelop the offline “website”/frame and code local content uploads into our NUCs.
Work from your home, through a Github, with young Himalayan coders and help reach over 4000 students and 20,000 villagers with no access to the internet. Simple HTML and some Java. 4 hours/week over the summer and into the autumn and change futures for these forgotten nomads and high-altitude farmers.
