Project description:

A digital participation tool (an app) for political issues – it’s a platform that is accessible by all Australians via smartphone, tablet or desktop. 

The platform bridges the gap between an informed public on the one hand and decision makers on the other. It’s about policy, not party. For the user, there are four parts to the platform:

First, they can browse political issues that matter most to them, the potential solutions to those issues and access balanced information about them

Second, they can introduce issues and/or potential solutions to the platform (effectively crowdsourcing governance)

Third, they can participate in discussion with other users in an open, safe and respectful space in order to analyse, test, evaluate and refine solutions

Fourth, they can vote on the solutions that they want implemented.
