LineHayat is a Listening Service designed to provide peer support for Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) students, completely free-of-charge. Sharers can call in or text us to have a Listening Volunteer listen and provide them with emotional support.
We need some help developing the website and the chat system, which will allow students to have anonymous one-on-one text conversations with Listening Volunteers.
The front end of the project is written in TypeScript (React + Next.js), and the back end is written in Go, but we’re considering rewriting it in Node.js + socket.io. We’re looking for people who could help us with any of the following:
