Mission: Hidden Stories Project is an app that creates a sense of community and belonging centered around storytelling. It is a platform and living archive to share, document, map and discover stories of under-represented communities and places.
Why is this important? These narratives are typically not represented by dominant power structures like mainstream media, corporations and others. Hence, they get buried over time. By creating a platform to record and share them, we surface and empower alternative pasts, presents and futures – keeping them alive through community and awareness.
Current project status: Mid-hi fidelity prototype of the app is available for development into an app.
What we’re looking for: A collaborative team-mate who is comfortable developing iOS apps. Must be open to iterating and working in close collaboration with the UX designer.
