An update about giving forward tech team We are making great progress now with the task development and work coordination by Bryan and Aashika.

We are working in focused teams as follows Charity Mall – is our absolute priority. Givingforward.org

      – The designs by Matt, Bryan, and Steven are far enough along for final review and approval by Kevin. – Steven suggested everything can be combined inside of WordPress so long as the team doesn’t deviate too far from PHP. Bryan needs confirmation that Kevin is on board with this.
      – After approval, the designs can be assigned to our development team to start translating into a working WordPress website.
      – Social sign is in progress by Kamal and Ali.
      – Logo upload is in progress with the team that is hardcoding them into the website. Shivam recruited and is working with our new volunteer Kajal, to develop an RPA solution for uploading 40,000 logos.
      – Bryan has an API alternative option from Clearbit that we could use to dynamically download logos from their database. The extent of the database is unknown but could be tested for possible use.

      Corporate/about us site. Corp.givingforward.org

      – If everything still cannot be combined under WordPress then Bryan needs Kevin to approve that Corp.givingforward.org can just house the information for special
-users and business-related interests (influencers, investors, volunteers, etc).

Our sweepstakes website needs proof sweepsforacause.org We are running a $10,000 sweepstakes in August.

-Our social media team is preparing and will launch in July a subscription rally campaign to gain participation.
-We need to have someone to review the site, its links, etc. And do quick fixes to make sure we do not lose participants when they come in to sign up,,, due to link issues, or UX

Our no-priority backfill yet key project is goodbuzz.org

      – Micah, Tanuritha, and Shivam have volunteered to help with this project if/when they don’t have active ways to contribute to the GivingForward website.
      – Our current volunteers are web developers and could produce a progressive web application that has some of the best qualities of a native app, without the app store and need to download (see Pinterest or Spotify).
      – Progressive web apps can be completed much quicker than native apps because the team wouldn’t need to code separate solutions for iOS, Android, and the web. – Progressive web apps do have some downsides including some lack of special functionality with recording, microphone, and less robust security features than native apps.
      – If we decided to make Good Buzz a native app then we would need to recruit app developers specializing in iOS and Android. Some popular programming languages for this are Swift or Objective-C for iOS and Java or Kotlin for Android.
      – Shivam recommends that we could use a cross-platform framework like Flutter to create one codebase and deliver it to any type of device, which shortens development time significantly but requires individuals who can use the Dart language.
      – React Native can do the same thing but is based on the popular JavaScript library, React, which many of our developers already know.

We are currently in need of experienced volunteers with spare time to give forward :

      Frontend developers
      – We are seeking experienced Backend Developers to join our talented team in building an exciting WordPress
      -based website.
-Assist our frontend team by turning Figma layouts into pixel-perfect WordPress website replications.
-Build out user login and shopping functionality with PHP and JavaScript, ensuring seamless integration between the frontend and backend systems.
      -Backend developers

      Backend Developers
-You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the server-side functionality that powers our platform, enabling users to log in and shop from various merchants.
