Project description:

Our organization’s goal is to make free authentic assessments for k-12 institutions. Assessments are the engine of the education system and should enhance the learning process. The current assessments are not good indicators of student success and require enormous resources from cash-strapped schools. We are a new non-profit looking to fix these problems so that educators can get an honest assessment of their student’s knowledge.

One of the assessments we are working is for 3rd-grade math. We are looking for UX/UI designers to help us design the prototype. Assessment can cause anxiety so we need help making the application that is user-friendly for third graders. We would like to design an intuitive “Math Keyboard” so that student work can be easy to check (I can explain in further detail when we speak).
