Health Authorities Worldwide (CDC, IARC, OEHHA, EU etc.) have identified over 20,000 substances in food and self-care products that are known to cause cancer, heart disease, diabetes, birth defects, infertility and unhealthy weight gain. In fact, new evidence suggests that there are now more cancer deaths related to diet than tobacco.
The problem is products containing these toxic substances don’t come with a warning and there isn’t enough time in a lifetime to memorize thousands of toxins and then try to identify them on thousands of product labels every time we shop.
That’s why we’re creating an mHealth app — a mobile app that uses COMPUTER VISION to show people instantly which products could trigger cancer and other diseases and which ones could help your body fight these health conditions by simply holding up your phone and aiming a camera at any product and getting instant feedback about the products at-hand on your screen.
We’re looking for Computer Vision engineers and students as well as iOS developers to join our mission and change the lives of millions of people around the globe. Work is 100% remote.
