ClimateReps is website that lets constituents know about their local governments’ efforts in regards to climate change and talk to their local representatives if they’re not satisfied.
US residents can enter their ZIP Code and the website will show their city or State’s current greenhouse gas (GHG) emission levels against the target set by the local government, as well as a list of people in charge.
I have been developing this project with the help of a developer and a designer while studying and working at Columbia University as a sustainability professional. I am currently looking for a web developer to help me on the last segment by integrating our (already existing) assets and overall design into our code. Our website is currently functional but very much bare. I hope this description is clear enough – please contact me if you’d like to know more or take part!
Thanks,
Gregoire
