My name is Morgan and I’m a freelance Web developer and System Administrator engineer based in Nottingham, UK. I specialise in custom design, development and hosting solutions for a wide range of industries across the world.
Previously, I’ve held roles within the development teams at some of the UK’s top hosting companies including GoDaddy and Heart Internet as both a developer and as a System Administrator, before moving on to be product manager for the Managed WordPress offering with the later company.
Following this, I was a long term contractor with Automattic (WordPress parent company) focusing on improving security and reliablity within the WordPress ecosystem.
My last permenant role was as lead WordPress developer for a national design agency. Throughout my tenure, I was responsible for overseeing the conceptualisation, design, production and managment of over 400 websites, with around 60% of those containing an ecommerce element.
I’m also a certified AWS Solutions Architect and a GCP Certified Practitioner.
