I started learning to program from a Java book back in November 2011, and iOS and Android development around 5 years ago. I worked for a now defunct startup called Tripmatcher, where people could find other people to go on holiday with, between December 2016 and December 2018. Since then I have been learning Kotlin and backend development using Node.js. For Tripmatcher I wrote the backend (in PHP) as well as the website, and recently I have been writing the backend for a messaging app using Node.js, so I have experience of working with both MongoDB and MySQL, as well as native app development using Java, Kotlin and Objective-C. I am currently furloughed from my role until the beginning of August, at which point I can work for 10 hours a week. Until then, I can work full time.
