I am a positive person who genuinely believes you get out of life what you are prepared to put in. I am a very giving person who enjoys working alongside other like-minded people who want to make a difference in the work they are doing. Over the years I have gained lots of transferrable skills and qualities that I feel would be suited to the position of volunteer. I began my career as an agricultural economist,and I transitioned into tech almost a year ago. I am proficient with HTML,CSS and bootstrap,I am currently learning JavaScript and its framework, but I am not yet proficient due to the difficulty of the material.
My greatest strength is my passion to continue learning and growing. I always seek to experience new things, learn from other people and then use those learnings to become a better person. I believe this will help me as a volunteer as I am open-minded and am prepared for any challenges that I may encounter.I am also at the stage in my life where I want to gain different experiences working for an organization that genuinely wants to make a difference. Being a volunteer will be hugely rewarding, and whilst I know it will be hard work, I will get to work alongside other like-minded people who are all striving to make a positive difference in everything they do.
