I am a software developer with 3 years of commercial Java and SQL experience for a fintech in London as well as self-taught Python and Scala.
I mainly have experience working back-end and am well versed in TDD, SOLID principles and common OO design patterns. I have experience in web service development (mainly SOAP but some REST knowledge) and intergration test development (Selenium).
I am very interested in data science and AI and have a self-taught working knowledge of machine learning paradigms and algorithm implementations as well as a number of libraries to implement their solutions (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, DL4j).
I am currently in between jobs travelling and would be keen to keep my skills sharp while contributing to a project of real worth. I am happy to work arround my current knowledge stack but also very keen to broaden my skillset and have plenty of time to commit to learning new tech and theory if necessary to contribute.
