I am an enthusiastic, skilled and conscientioussecond-year student predicted to achieve a 1st having obtained this in my first-year exams. My relevant skills include efficient programming skills including Python, MATLAB and statistical packages, experience tutoring Mathematics GCSE and my drive to volunteer. The last month has seen me take on a consultancy project within one of my modules, Linear Models and Data Analysis. This including the processing and analysis of data and presenting my ideas and findings as a group to audiences with varying knowledge of statistics. This experience has greatly helped me in understanding how to communicate statistics to people who know little about statistics and professionally in a detailed summary report. I believe these skills to be integral for a person taking this role as teaching coding concepts and techniques that become complex very quickly. This requires a teacher, such as me, that can explain these things so that it is easy to understand.
