Greetings. I have an older custom CMS with some proprietary functions that are sadly out of date. Over the years when necessary I’ve hired overpriced coders to tweak mail sending and forms, updated deprecated functions and troubleshoot hosting.
In 2014 I was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer was small and easily removed however the medical system in my area chose to use the maximum dosage of radiation on me; causing many health issues. In the past 6 years I have had almost 20 surgeries, a colostomy which is failing, hernias, peripheral neuropathy, 6 broken bones (3 times for one ankle), surgeries to repair neurologic and osteo issues, multiple falls, ostomy blockages and most recently an internal bleed they never found the cause of.
The above has forced us into bankruptcy which is still not closed. Since the opening of that bankruptcy we have accrued an additional ~$20K in medical bills with no income help in sight on my part.
The CMS is running on php 5.6 and about to become obsolete. Currently there are few customers but I have been offered a chance to use my application with a national association. It is an opportunity which could put lifes blood back into my dream and offer me a chance at making an income again.
Is there anyone who could help with this conversion. I have no income to pay with more possible surgeries in the near future. I would however be willing to offer an affiliate position to the coder. It won’t be much money now but with a wordpress plugin, both single and multi-user platforms, nonprofit option plans and a good working base of contacts in this particular industry which I already have, I feel that income would increase quickly.

I want to make sure I understand.
Are you looking for someone to upgrade a wordpress plugin, or a website built in plain php?
Second, do you have a link to this cms? I should like to get a feel for what you are talking about.

The CMS is a complete website builder with some some proprietary functions that have never been sold outside of my server. Most of the site builder can be handled by wordpress and plugins. proprietary functions need to be converted to a plugin. This way future upgrades will be to the plugin only – wordpress can handle the rest. Once this is done I would plan for multi-user and premium versions that can be sold outside of my server for more income along with support plans. I hope this explains it more clearly. Of course the external and multiuser sales would be included on the affiliate income that the coder would receive.

additionally – mysql scripts to convert existing databases would be extremely helpful in moving this along quickly.
