April 2020 started on a hopeful note for Good Business Lab. We organized our very first hackathon to brainstorm ways to design an anxiety-free space for workers in factories at Shahi Exports – our industry partner, as factories prepare to reopen. 

The teams ideated on steps garment industries can take to establish the “new normal”, and run factories keeping everyone’s safety in mind, without losing focus of both business and workers’ needs. What came out of it was a guideline doc. 

Pop-up website

Now we want to make this information open source and available to the public. In order to do this, we want to launch a live pop up website which infographics and design elements regarding the steps garment factories can take for its workers in a Covid-19 world.
